ABCD uses a precision, compact decorative concrete engraving saw with a powerful high RPM motor and diamond saw blades which can cut perfect circles and arrow straight lines. This machine easily cuts, scores and saws straight lines for tile patterns, and other long line designs. It quickly attaches to a center pivot to cut circle patterns of any size. Pattern designs are only limited by your imagination. We also use engraving tools precision made of billet aluminum and heat treated alloy steel. The largest of our engraving tools, a 1.125" diameter driver, easily powers the 64 sharpened and heat treated impactor teeth. These teeth eat up the concrete and stone aggregate leaving a detailed cut, up to 6+mm (1/4") inch deep. The mid-sized tool that we use has 19 impactors. This in-between concrete engraver is used for cutting designs that have fine detail. The smallest piece of equipment we use is a handy pneumatic tool used for touching up, removing islands, voids, and adding extra minute details to the engraved pattern. Very small, delicate designs require the use of this tool alone. See WRC Stain Colors and RAC Stain Colors for information about the stains that we use. | | |
